Corporate Social Responsibility

Aarvi is committed to doing business in an ethical manner. For us ethics transcends our company boundaries to our neighbourhood, where we have established effective community partnerships. We have sense of belonging with communities where our services have suited and have a long history of active participation in their welfare.

We are good neighbour. Social commitment is anchored in our business philosophy and is reflected in our everyday actions. We make a positive contribution to community development and are engaged in social activities such as promoting education, hygiene, preventive healthcare, eradicting hunger, poverty & malnutrition, making available safe drinking water , environment sustainability, ecological balance & conservation of natural resources , rural sports and setting up old age homes etc.

We are creating assets in their priority areas with our CSR initiatives to meet their daily needs. Improving educational facilities and employability’s has been another initiative that integrates the communities and aligns with our business operations.

Corporate Social Responsibility, no matter how well intentioned, runs the risk of diffusion of trying to run too many programmes, do too many things, too soon. We have therefore narrowed our focus to a single theme; Building India’s Social Infrastructure. Based on key criteria we have chosen and focused on eradication of hanger and poverty, providing safe drinking water and enhancing education facility to the community, with which we are living.

At Aarvi, we believe it is imperative that a company’s social responsibilities transit from lofty thought, emotional prose and slick presentations to tangible action with measurable benefits. The well being of the less privileged of our country is far too important to be lost in translation of plans into performance.

As part of agreed CSR philosophy, the company undertook the following Activities in the vicinity of its establishments:

1. Distributed note books and school bags

2. Distributed Computer Desktops to various schools for educational purpose.

3. Organised medical camps in villages of Gujarat and Maharashtra.

4. We have established bore wells and solar pumps for extracting safe drinking water in villages at Maharashtra. This has helped locals to get water at their respective Homes.

5. Supplied submersible motor pumps to provide power to RO plants.

6. We have through other NGOs and established trusts, organised various educational programmes to educate people on various matters.

7. Distributed blankets and other food materials to the villagers in winter.

8. Renovated classrooms and toilets in various schools in villages.

9. Promoted rural sports of the school children.

10. Provided scholarship to the needy and poor students.

11. Organised blood donation camps

12. Have created a Book bank so that education books can be recycled and reused to max number of students.

These are the instances of projects which are completed. There are several projects and works on which works are going on.

At Aarvi, our endeavour is to add value to the people and CSR is perceived as an opportunity to be responsive to the society’s need.
